Semiotic work.
One object is based on the floorplan of the top floor of Norman Bates' house from the film Psycho by Alfred Hitchcock. This object is wrapped in leather and tied around a box made of plywood.
According to Slavoy Zizek's psychoanalytical reading of Norman Bates' house, the top floor of the building depicts Norman's super ego. The top floor contains the bed room of the deceased mother and the room of the disturbed former child, and a notably absent father. All three entities claim control over Norman's psyche, but the id, located in the basement, housing the deceased mother's corpse, overpowers both Norman's weak ego and super ego.
