Video work about aesthetic war consumption.

The mobilization of mass media for effective war making has a long tradition and in the internet has found a collaborator. The latest Afghanistan war had our TV AND our computer screens lit with unidentifiable light dots that each signaled another destroyed house or existence. Youtube's videos of the current Syrian war with a soundtrack of euro techno or melancholic piano music are just a turn of the screw of this cultural strategy of making war consumable enough to comment on it. I have used sound samples of these videos over animated scenes. In the end of WAR VIDEOS, a bomb drop by an airplane in reverse blends into the famous tracking shot from earth into the galaxy and back, by Eames/IBM, over slow trancy music loops I have made.
