A round up of brief video segments that are projected over different furniture and surfaces in the apartment where the video segments were shot.

The subject of the videos is the transformation of a linen from pillow case to lap napkin and seat cover. The arrangement of the videos in my living space makes a visual connection between different parts of the private sphere, bed to table to food to seat.

An online exhibition will stream the screening from inside the apartment and make it accessible to users 24/7.

Georges Bataille held a core belief that he presented in all of his writings: divine transcendence is possible in the real world and takes place through Eros and through religion. By virtually accessing a stranger's space, where things are shown in repeat to the spectator or user as if of importance, I want to discuss the stages of transcendence, where one thing gradually gains a new meaning.

As an example, falling in love is such an instance, where one sees a person or thing and gradually changes, or acquires, an opinion about them in a tremendous way. This slow transformation of esteem of a thing or person in someone's mind is the very thing that I wish to discuss, and I do it in this video piece by abstracting and using a piece of cloth as my object.
